Kinima 21's positions on the Economy: tax reductions, abolition of ENFIA, drastic reduction of indirect taxes and a fair taxation system.

Our Positions on the Economy

The economy is a major subject that cuts vertically and horizontally across our remaining positions. In the other positions you will read, you will see its harmonious connection with every sector — and of course the above constitute only part of Kinima 21.

.Reduction of corporate tax to the minimum demanded by the EU, which is 10% on profits.

.Calculation of income tax on the amount arising after deduction of all expenses of the year, without any exception, for natural persons.

.Abolition of all luxury-living taxes and of presumptive income criteria (yachts, swimming pools etc.).

.Drastic reduction up to elimination of indirect taxes (fuel, alcohol etc.).

.Zero taxation and reduced VAT for persons who live (as proven) in villages (non-touristic) of fewer than 500 inhabitants and on islands of the remote island network.

.Abolition of ENFIA.

.Reduction of VAT to 20% and 10%.

.Abolition of the ERT fee from electricity bills.

.Nationalisation of all motorways and a drop in toll prices.

.Mapping, evaluation and utilisation of the country's resources for the benefit of the State and the Nation.

.Rationalisation of the banking system.

.Cancellation of all unjust debts to the State incurred by Greek citizens two years ago and earlier.

.Offsetting of citizens' loans against the bank recapitalisations which were carried out with the savings of the Greek citizen. Political figures, parties and officials from 1974 onwards are not included.

.Creation of conditions for the development of agriculture and livestock farming, crafts and industry on healthy foundations. (Hospitals, Armed Forces, Foundations, School units etc. will be supplied only with products of Greek production, even if more expensive, because the money will remain in the Greek market.)

.Abolition of pensions granted to foreign citizens who have not completed the necessary years of work in our country.

.Confiscation of the assets of the mass media, of media owners and of journalists, up to the amount they deprived from the Greek people for treatments, nursing staff and medical equipment, as a result of which we had thousands of dead during the covid-19 period and after.

.Nationalisation of DEI, OTE, OSE and any other public utilities that have been sold off, since they constitute the property of the Greek people, who were either not consulted or deceived regarding their sale — after they were first deliberately made loss-making and then sold.

.Cancellation of all fines whose cause was covid-19.

.Creation of a State Bank, through which the obligations of the State, civil servants, pensioners and all obligations to and from the State and Municipalities will be paid. It will also provide POS devices to businesses with no commission at all on transactions. It will not grant loans or other banking services and will have no interest rates.
