Our Positions on the Armed Forces
Si vis pacem, para bellum — "If you want peace, prepare for war"
1.Linking Universities with research for the defence of the Country.
2.Modernisation of the productive schools.
3.Cleansing of the Armed Forces from elements that have cooperated with nation-nihilistic parties.
4.Retrospective dismissal from office of senior Officers who did not react to the removal of the prerequisite of Greek descent for appointment as an Officer of the Hellenic Army. The same penalty will apply to senior officers who kept silent and actively participated in the process of colonising the Country (HOT SPOTS, croissant patrols etc.). There will also be confiscation of property and emoluments for these specific ranks.
5.Retroactive granting of ranks and salaries to Long-Service Volunteers, exactly as was done for female Volunteers.
6.Audit of all defence expenditures from 2000 onwards.
7.Creation of a defence industry with the participation of Universities and the private sector.
8.Provision of housing or financial assistance to members of the Armed Forces who do not have housing in their place of service in the border areas.
9.Age limit of 43 years for conscripts, NCOs and lowest-ranking Officers. Afterwards, release from the Armed Forces with a pension (for the years worked) and a lump-sum payment or entry into the public sector (to complete the years required for full pension) in positions similar to their specialisation in the Army.
10.Extension of military service for men to 18 months.
11.Entry into the public sector only upon successful fulfilment of military obligations (service).
12.9-month service for women.
13.Close cooperation of the Army with the Reserve Clubs.
14.Creation of a Reserve Club in every Region or Municipality under the supervision of Officers of the Armed Forces.
15.The country will prepare at the level of its armed forces so as to apply the law of the sea.
16.Linking the new military payroll with annual inflation.
17.Creation of a Corps of Military Intelligence.
18.Reorganisation of the National Intelligence Service (EYP).
19.Those on light duties or office duty will be transferred immediately to the public sector, in a service near their residence, to complete the years required for their retirement.
